Enjoy an afternoon of snowshoeing, learning about snowshoe technique and history, local mining history and having fun with friends and family.
Earn a patch, win prizes, treat yourself with healthy snacks and support local Girl Scouts.
Who: Everyone who loves to snowshoe or would like to try it for the first time. Open to public!
What: Snowshoe at your own pace along the museum’s 1/3-mile Geology Trail or with a trail mentor; enjoy the wooded views and follow the interpretive signs that illustrate the local mining heritage. Historian guided tour for older girls and adults at 3:00 p.m.
