A premiere wilderness and rugged point-to-point cross country ski event.
The Noquemanon Ski Marathon (also referred to as the “Noque”) is a point-to point cross-country ski race from Ishpeming to Marquette. The race showcases the rugged and challenging terrain of northern Marquette County. It is known for it’s premiere snow conditions, remote course, and beautiful views. It is part of the American Ski Marathon Series and CXC Marathon Cup Series. In addition to the 50K and 24K Classic and Freestyle races, other events are held over the Noquemanon weekend including Skijour, Snowshoe, and Snowbike events.
Registration can be completed on the race website. Registration fees vary by event; fees increase as the race dates approach.

Check in, packet pickup, and ski expo begins Friday January 26th at 5pm at the NMU Superior Dome. Awards ceremony for the 50K and 24K events (all Saturday events) begins at 5pm at the NMU Superior Dome. Door prizes and raffle occurs at the awards ceremony. There will be special gifts for 20 year legacy skiers on our 20th anniversary year.
